Samsung Galaxy A10: Cheap at Aldi and with free SIM
The Samsung Galaxy A10 has a suggested retail price of 169 euros. Similar prices call the large online retailers currently on. With them, the smartphone is available from about 159 euros. Significantly cheaper, however, is the offer of Aldi.
Samsung’s new A-Series starts with the Galaxy A10. So good is the entry-level smartphone.
For the smartphone, buyers get the starter pack from Aldi Talk, the in-house mobile brand of the discounter. The prepaid starter package costs regularly 12.99 euros and brings already 10 euros credit. Aldi Talk realizes its services in the network of O2 and offers various prepaid options with a duration of 28 days, which can be flexibly booked on the basic rate. For example, an Allnet Flat with 2 GB LTE data volume is available for € 7.99 per four weeks. This achievement offers the Samsung Galaxy A10
With its 6.2-inch display, the Galaxy A10 offers plenty of space for presentations. However, the resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels (HD +) is a bit small for the display size. Here are the smears that Samsung has to make in this price range. Nevertheless, the screen presents itself in a modern look. Samsung uses an infinity display in 19: 9 format, thereby keeping the case compact. The screen is broken only by a small, drop-shaped Notch, which houses the 5-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture.
On the back there is another camera that takes pictures with up to 13 megapixels. The aperture is only insignificantly larger with f / 1.9 than with the front camera. Unfortunately, with the large bezels of the higher priced models (up to f / 1.5), they can not keep up, which is why the Galaxy A10 is not quite as good for taking pictures in twilight or night. With a price of well under 200 euros, the smartphone is also much cheaper.

The LTE module, with a maximum bandwidth of 150 Mbit / s in the downstream, is also weaker. Surfing over Wi-Fi is only possible in the 2.4 GHz band, as the Galaxy A10 only supports Wi-Fi b / g / n.
Overall, the chip is a solid entry-level model that copes well with regular smartphone applications. Users who often play games on the phone or like to run multiple applications in parallel, but should rather look for a different model, because the performance of the Galaxy A10 is too low.
The capacity of the battery is neat with 3,400 mAh. In addition, the device supports the current Bluetooth 5.0 and real dual SIM, so it offers two SIM slots regardless of the MicroSD card.
