Nokia shows smartphone with Android One for 129 euros

Nokia’s new smartphone 2.2 will not win any performance awards, but the device brings three years of guaranteed updates for Android. The Finns demand 129 euros for this. The sale in Germany starts in July.

Guaranteed for years updates

For the fairly low price, there are the next two Android versions Q and R with the Android One device and security updates for three years. The other performance data are more at the lower end of the scale: A largely borderless display with HD resolution (720 to 1280 pixels) and only small camera indentation at the top.

Access to Google Assistant has its own switch, and users can personalize the phone in the old Nokia tradition with Xpress-on Cover colored backpads.
